BioWeb is a web-based time and attendance solution designed to provide organisations with a simple method of performing rostering and time keeping. Features include:
Time Clocking
Eliminates Buddy Punching (where someone clocks in/out for another employee using his or her traditional paper time (Bundy) card or other type of card (including magnetic -stripe and proximity
cards). Allows the enforcement of specific punches i.e. In / Out / Breaks.
Messaging and reporting
In conjunction with BioWeb, BioScans can arrange for automatic employee on-screen messaging on clock-in (e.g. "please report to the office"), automatically raise exceptions for irregular time-clocking, convert raw employee time verifications into payroll times via BioWeb's work-rules engine, and produce customisable reports using industry-standard packages.
Workforce Scheduling
The system allows planning of staff rosters with fixed and rotating formats, to allow the right staff to be present at the times desired.
Payroll Interfaces
BioScan Time and attendance with the BioPay utility (a module of BioSuite) allows communication via ODBC or text file outputs to other third-party time and attendance / HR packages.
Access Control
The BioScan Time and attendance unit can also be utilised as a stand-alone access control unit or as part of a network of BioScans over single or multiple sites; as well as utilising on-board Wiegand configuration tools that allow the device to be incorporated as part of an existing access control system.
